Hello and thank you for the response.
The problem was that the requests were made through a proxy that wasn't forwarding the cookies to the api, so, there were no session cookies. I apologise for this mistake.

Do you use synchronous or asynchronous applications? If you use asychronous
one you need to call load() explicitly.

(this)->session().["auth_token"];
Seems to have problems i.e. session().[...] < note the point after ")" and before "[".
