Hi Everyone, It's a long weekend here in the Philippines, and I've been taking a lot of time reflecting on the C++ Networking Library's goals and scope. I have posted (which I've attached again here) the RATIONALE for developing the library. It would be great if we can somehow put a schedule/timeline as to what we want to accomplish by when. This will also give us a chance to allot time for the project (in case we have some ;) ) during our days, and so that we can get a feel of whatever our challenges and approaches will be. I would like to spend the week discussing everyone's comments and suggestions regarding the RATIONALE document. This will allow me to make the appropriate changes/additions before we really start digging into the details of the implementation. I certainly feel this is a necessary step to be able to systematically move forward with this project. Please let me know your thoughts about the project, so we can finally get going towards a direction we all would feel comfortable going to. Thank you very much, and I certainly hope to hear from everyone soon. Have a great weekend everyone! -- Dean Michael C.
