I'm all for this Glyn, let me look into the requirements for that. I think there needs to be someone that's community involved who's going to mentor the endeavor. I think only existing Boost maintainers/developers are allowed to mentor GSoC participants. Maybe one of the people in the Boost list would like to take on the GSoC project to push the library development forward?
