Right now, it's on hold because it currently requires quite a lot of
work to turn pion-net into a header-only library. That falls currently
squarely on my shoulders but I'm still concentrated on implementing

cpp-netlib doesn't require to be built -- but linking an application
that uses it depends on Boost.System.
You should be alright with using pion-net and cpp-netlib together.
We'd love to know how that goes as well.
