I've added a requirements specification document to the wiki at sourceforge:

If you'd like to take a look and make comments, I hope we'll be able to
flesh out what progress we need to make in the coming weeks and months.

Hi Glyn!

Very well written document. I couldn't have come up with anything
close or better.

I'll try and add more details to the Architecture document in a while.
I see that you've edited that page as well.

Thank you.  Do you have any comments?  It still needs to be fleshed out a
bit more.

Yeah well I started editing that before realising I was writing specs rather
than architecture, which is why I started writing that.  What I added to the
architecture docs doesn't really come to much.
