I've just been getting these c++ libraries (which look very nice, IMHO) working under RH7, and thought, since there was a previous post telling people to downgrade their compilers, that they library works fine if you upgrade the computer the redhats 2.96-69 rpms for gcc and gcc-c++ (and stdc++-lib to match). I know a lot of people w2ill just on me saying RHs 2.96 is not an 'official' compiler (what ever that is supposed to mean), but it is by far the best current gcc for c++, I build some presst big c++ packages here, and it does  a *much* getter job than 2.95 on standard c++ (ie: things that work on most other commercial c++ compilers on the big *nixes now actually work!).
