In light of current events, is this a bug or a feature?!
I recall SCO OpenServer family originally did not directly support
"pthread" style threading under unix, except through a seperately
licensed pthread library. I suppose if someone else were to
submit a patch to make Common C++ compile on OS 5 it would
not be rejected, but certainly I am not going to spend time
researching issues with SCO's varient of Unix.
