Simulations initiative launched!

CPA MUST, a project with source forge community, has launched the open simulations initiative. Simulations or case studies are effective learning and testing tools for high-performance, or fail proof communities such as professional education, licensure exams, etc.

CPA MUST has developed accounting simulations and has provided the soft code for download. Our short-term goal is to develop accounting simulations suitable for the US CPA exam students, spread worldwide. The features of these simulations are well laid out by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, on their website www.cpa-exam.org. We have achieved in our version 6 almost 70% matching of features.

We hope to do more not only through feature-matching efforts supported by the world of open source programmers but also develop new simulations with the help of domain expertise from CPAs, Accounting professors and teaching community. We welcome you all to this grand and unique alliance of software programmers and accounting community!
