Hi All,

Release 2.0 of Count, built from the very latest code in CVS branch rel-2-0, is out! Get it from:

As of now, Count is inactive; I won't be adding any new features, but I will fix any reported bugs (assuming, that is, that someone out there actually uses this tool).

Just on the off chance that anyone is actually using this project, I'm going to release Count 2.0. Once that's out (hopefully sometime in the next few days) I'll consider this project finished.

Release 1.0 (rel-1-0) has been created within the CVS repository, and a new file release is out. This contains a source .gz, as well as binaries for Linux i386 and Solaris SPARC.

There are no known bugs in the release version.

Count is now alive. I've committed the codebase to SourceForge CVS, and will do some test builds on a few machines. Once I'm satisfied that everything is okay, I shall be branching to 1.0 and declaring it officially released :-)
