Category: Interface Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Full-Screen mode starts with Ctrl key "stuck" on Initial Comment: I am using Chicken of the VNC 2.0b4 on Mac OS 10.4.4 to connect to the OSXvnc server on Mac OS 10.4.4 though I have seen this behavior using Chicken of the VNC 2.0b3 and Mac OS 10.4.3 as well. In normal window mode, all keys act normally, but when I first switch to Full-Screen mode, the Ctrl key acts as if it is permanently stuck on. If I click in a file editor, for example, the cursor does not move where I click. If I click on an application in the Finder, then I get the contextual menu (as if I had clicked with Ctrl on). Clicking with Ctrl does not unstick it. I found a simple workaround for this behavior which is to just do a shift-click since that seems to unstick the Ctrl behavior. However, it would be better if Chicken of the VNC entered Full-Screen mode without the Ctrl key starting out stuck. Otherwise I am very happy with Chicken of the VNC! Thanks for the quick fix, but I'd love a proper solution. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-02-07 19:07 Message: Logged In: NO thank you so much for this workaround, this bug has been driving me crazy for months!! You don't have to actually click to "unstick" the control key -- just hit shift once. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=507159&aid=1423667&group_id=64347 |
