You have to update the default vnc-package from SuSE 9.1. Go to www.realvnc.com, download the old version (4.0, RedHat 7.3 rpm), because the newest isn't free anymore. But that doesn't matter. Whatever the problem was, it has been fixed in SuSE 10.0.
