Bugs item #1084119, was opened at 2004-12-12 20:50 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=507159&aid=1084119&group_id=64347 Category: Networking Group: v2.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Adrian Kunzle (akunzle) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Crash on start-up Initial Comment: Hi I have been happily running COTVNC for a while now. I have just installed Norton SystemWorks (Virus and Diskdoctor - which included a disk scan and fix up of errors), and now COTVNC crashes just after drawing the Connection Dialog. I have attached the log. I hope you point me in the right direction if this isn't really a bug (or at least an ungracious handling of an error). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=507159&aid=1084119&group_id=64347 |

The kernel throws a EXC_BAD_ACCESS in some sort array access. Looks like something is not getting initialized properly. Everything seems to work, through to applicationDidFinishLaunching. I am having a hard time finding the event that actually causes the crash though. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=507159&aid=1084119&group_id=64347 |

It's fixed now in CVS if you're comfortable pulling and building from CVS. If you're comfortable editing a plist, you can fix it yourself by editing Chicken's Info.plist file and removing the Applescript stuff. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Adrian Kunzle (akunzle) Date: 2004-12-15 05:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=268316 OK, so I did some digging last night.
