I used to use this for monitoring my kids on-line activities, but they
caught on because the pointer in the system being viewed sort of
"flashes" or gets a bit jittery. I suppose this is the viewed system
dealing back and forth, watching for input from either system.

The suggestion is for sort of a silent stealth, or watch-only mode,
where the system doing the remote viewing (the Chicken side) can
only see what's happening, but not provide any input.

I realize that VNC (the server side, say, RealVNC) has settings to
disable input from clients, but I don't want to disable it on the server
side as I want to be able to take control when I need to. Therefore I
understand that my suggestion may not be possible, since the
server behavior might be completely driven by the server; thus,
Chicken might not be able to do anything about it.

ViewOnly is a common vncviewer feature, cotVNC is the first vncviewer I
have come across that doesn't seem to have it implemented. I'm hoping it
    will be implemented soon.

This is now implemented in CVS, but I'll leave this request open until we
    ship.

I'm going to close this one, actually, since it's a dupe. Please see RFE
    #1222761.
