I've looked at the help and I've googled, and I find plenty of reference to the fact that you can use control+click to send a right click. That's great and works just fine, but it's not what I want to do.

I want to send control+left_click. This is important for being able to make discontinuous selections in things like Windows explorer, Excel, etc.

Chicken of the VNC doesn't seem to provide a way to send a control+left_click without translating it into a right_click. What I might suggest is since you translate Command into ALT, then you could translate Alt/Option into Control, although that seems to correspond to middle-click. Also, there should be a way to disable this translation entirely--I use two-finger-on-trackpad+click to do right-click, so I can do without control+click to get right_click.

Oh, and if this function is already available, please add it to the documentation.

Thanks.

This function is available, it turns out.

    If you go to
    Connection>Connection Profiles...

In the Emulation tab, there are features for what you want.

Profiles also let you swap around what local modifier keys map to remote ones and stuff.

Took me FOREVER to find this, but now that I have, my life is much better.

I don't know how to add new profiles (the + seems always disabled), but I only ever connect to one server anyway, so it works out for me...

Hope this helps anybody who's in the same boat as me.

    -Shawn.
