version 2.0b2

there does NOT seem to be a way to stop a connection attempt
without force quiting the entire cotvnc app.

If I try to attach to a VNC server that is temporarily not reachable,
then I get a spinning beachball and the entire cotvnc app hangs.
I'm usually impatient and end up quiting the whole cotvnc app.

when attempting to connect to a vnc server, cotvnc should display
an "abort" or "stop" button.

I use VNC to access machines across the country (CA, AZ, CO, NJ,
NH, and ME) and the network or the target machine is not always
up. The hard hang in COTVNC makes it not useable.

    I second this. Very frustrating.

I also experience this OFTEN! It would be nice if this was fixed.

i too run on this issue.
If you use VNC to update 3-4 windows installation and they restart slow, its hard to work.
Is it possible to let the User set timeouts in the Preferences? that would be great ;)
