TITLE: Reference mode not "sticky" When I am reading in reference mode a
message which is a comment, and there are comments on the message I am
reading, if I then do an "or" command, to see the message which the
current message it a reply to, reference mode is lost. By lost, I mean
that when I am through reading the original message, and hit return, I
don't get the next reply in the thread, but a message which is not in the
thread, UNLESS it just happens that the next reply also is the next unread
message.

To make sure what I am saying is clear, assume that message 1 has a reply,
message 2, and message two has a reply, message 4. Message 3 is not part
of the thread.

If I am reading message 2, and do an or to see message 1, when I do a
return after reading message 1, I get message 3, not message 4, the next
message in the thread.

When that happens, the only apparent way to pick up the thread again is to
re-read the last reply one read, then issue the Ref command to go back
into reference mode.

That's not the way Ref mode worked on Bix - after, using this example,
reading message 1 with or, the next message read would be message 4, i.e.,
Ref mode "stuck".
