Code in CVS

The code for cossak is now in CVS. It is (has always been) built with NetBeans, and a checked-out copy should build fine with NetBeans 5.0 and JDK 1.5. Other versions might work, and it should be relatively easy to build with Ant directly (so sayeth the non-Java-guru who doesn't use Ant directly).

You will need the JGraph JAR file, and if you are not using NetBeans, you will need their redistributable FlowLayout JAR file. If you are using NetBeans to launch cossak, change the Properties->Run setting to give *your* NamingService(s) on the command-line. If you are running cossak outside of NetBeans, you must supply command-line options to find your NamingServices. Shell scripts and batch files coming soon.... read more

Stay Tuned

cossak has just been approved as a sourceforge entry. There are no files uploaded yet, though the version that I developed on my own machines is quite usable. There is one screenshot in the 'screenshots' section, and the code should be uploaded into CVS with two weeks.
