The 0.3 release is up and running on a public server!

You can access it via Java Web Start if you go to www.cosmosgame.com. Give it a try!

Warning! There will be a 0.3.1 release later in February (or perhaps early March) at that time all player data will be reset. I can't guarantee that this will be the only time player data will disappear, but I will try not to do it again.

The 0.3.1 release is a collection of fixes and improvements to make the game more playable at this stage. After that is finished I will start on the 0.4 release which might take a while longer than I first anticipated because I plan on going back to work soon.

I am a week behind schedule in getting out the 0.2 release.

The good news is that I have two weeks of extra time built into the 0.3 release schedule, so hopefully I will still make the 0.3 release on time. And that is the one that people will actually be able to use.

Check back in around the first week of January. The game will still be quite rudimentary, but I plan to have it up on a server to let people experiment with it.... read more

This is the very first release. It shows how the client will work. It should be fairly stable (for an alpha release anyways) -- give it a try!
