#4 Enhance browser usability

The "Browser" should change the icon or otherwise give
an indication that it is working, when it is busy
processing very large directories.

Also, there should be a way to clear the "last recently
browsed" directory so that the Browser does not
consistently lock up once a directory which causes a lot
of processing is chosen.
