#9 Yet another autoconf/automake patch
A small patch to make the autoconf/automake patch
(#432795) use the autoconf mechanism for generating a
header file containing all the #defines, rather than
putting them on the command line to the compiler.
Neater, and removes any potential problems due to
overly long command lines.
