Greetings all, I have been reading up on COREMU a bit as well as PQEMU as possible modification to QEMU for the emulation of many-core CMP systems and it appears that COREMU has great potential for scalability so I am going to look into compiling it and running it on an x86_64 system to see what kind of results may be possible. Some things that I am not clear on are: 1. When COREMU has multiple instances of QEMU (modified version) up and running then does it aggregate to combine all of the instances memory into a single shared memory? This would allow for a virtual OS to collectively add memory allocations from each instance thus giving the virtual machine a significant amount of virtual memory which would be very good. 2. Is it possible for COREMU to run each new instance of the QEMU (modified version) on physically different nodes which is something very desirable for my project? I am looking to have a system that allows for both of these attributes and would greatly appreciate any input that you might have on these topics as related to COREMU? Kind Regards and have a great day, Dr. Lonnie T.
