Ok, well it is kind of late for libcorelinux but I just realized emacs has the change log update capability. Can someone describe the normal processing for using this tool? I would like to consider it for the frameworks at least. Thanks Frank (once again wearing his ignoramous hat) |

> ? When I ran it seemed to query the CVS logs for entries? Huh are you under xemacs/cvs ? cvs under xemacs is great also if you aren't that's strange on my xemacs it works ok it creates a new ChangeLog if need be and gives the file and the function where the cursor is and you just type the log entry and when you have finished type C-c C-c you don't want to write the entry type C-c C-k C. -- Christophe Prud'homme | MIT, 77, Mass Ave, Rm 3-243 | A wise person makes his own Cambridge MA 02139 | decisions, Tel (Office) : (00 1) (617) 253 0229 | a weak one obeys public opinion. When I start with 'emacs ChangeLog &' it notes that it's loading 'add-log'. |

What I think I did was Update Change log, which went to the CVS and pulled it in. So, instead to learn I am now fooling with C-x 4-a which adds a new entry C-c C-c which does nothing !?!? C-c C-k which does nothing !?!? They both leave the buffer in modified state and don't undo anything How do you find the key bindings for a particular *.el package?
