I believe I am better served by having MICO on the box for the near term :) Anyway, there are a number of RDF parsers (which we would wan't to use anyway) that are written in 'C'. Christophe, I understand the ease of use that the Qt parser may offer, but we don't want the dependency. C., How goes it? The RDFS I sent the other day has been changed, but I am looking for a meetings of the minds on what the fundemental structure and properties should be. Basically, we COULD get away with just a Class with the ability to describe Properties with a qualifier (e.g. "Parents", "AssociatedUserClass", etc.). OR we could draw a line in the sand to reduce the amount of reasoning code and make things like DefiningParent and DescribingParent part of the property definition in the schema. Thoughts? -- Frank V. Castellucci http://corelinux.sourceforge.net OOA/OOD/C++ Standards and Guidelines for Linux http://PythPat.sourceforge.net Pythons Pattern Package |

I got us a MySQL database. On the web server in the /home/groups/corelinux/bin directory there is a script "openDB" which can get you an interactive session. If you guys want to use it, e-mail me and I will e-mail the password to you. -- Frank V. Guys, I have added some new stuff to the CoreLinux++ Project: Feature Requests - A public tracker where we, or the general public, can enter in requests for new features. If accepted, it can be moved (by Christophe, Hans, or myself) to the Accepted Features Tracker. Requirements - A private tracker where we will put hard requirements. For example, I have already started putting them in for the CoreLinux++ MetaClass Parser (clmcp). Each requirement, when initialy reviewed, can then move to the Accepted Features Tracker. Accepted Features - A private tracker where we can basically look for work to do. Items are not entered here direct as they have to be here as either a Feature Request or Requirement. Once here, the state (group) can be one of the following: None In Analysis In Design In Implementation Completed I have made all of us Admin/Techs so you have pretty much full flexibility. There is a minor bug in SF where you can only get to the private trackers through your personal pages, I have opened a defect on SF for this. -- Frank V. Hans, Sometimes I just close them without updating the compete %. Filter on only "open" ones. But there are still open "feature/defects" in Bug Tracker if you want to take any of those out, like: Coming up with a per Thread Signal Mask management thingy. That, in my mind, would complete the Thread work. Another one is, maybe, seeing if there are thread patterns worth developing, or thread pools. If that doesn't interest you, how about: Analysis/Design/Implementation of a framework similar to Java's JNDI? Hans Dulimarta wrote: > > "Frank V. Yes, be careful with RDF. Remember the readability aspect which put us into the generator to begin with. RDF is a great way to exchange semantic resource information between systems.
