Ten years after its publication, I've found this to be very useful for converting old files for upload to Google Photos.

Notes on practical usage:

You will need to install the .NET framework

The process to run your script while keeping dates is buried . It is in
MultipleAviConvDatePreserve\MultipleAviConvDatePreserve\bin\Release

You must run the program as administrator

Once you select the directory, nothing will appear until you set the source extension. .This is case sensitive.

To run the process yo must HIGHLIGHT the files on the left side that you want to run. Otherwise it will run and show you a blank results screen.

It is not necessarily clear, but the program replaces the %source and %dest parameters in your "Set SCRIPT" parameter for each file you process. So if you do

HandbrakeCLI -i %source -o %dest

the process will run that command for each file, replacing %source with the source file and auto-generating a destination filename. In my case, 00033.MTS was converted to 00033.MTS.mp4.

Home modified by Tolo's Band

Welcome to your wiki!
