When dealing with a larger dataset, you should always omit the best and worst result. For example, if your first invocation in a row of 50 takes 20+ seconds due to startup (for example, starting up a Spring context), that first invocation taints the rest of the results. So in order to get accurate results, for a PerfTest with 50 invocations, only 48 should be considered for average, max and minimum latency.
