I am completely new to Databases. Is their a simple way how I can export the Data of ConsultComm to MS Excel? The Program is pretty good, but the minimize to tray-Plugin does not work on Windows XP.
Any help will be appreciated.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
--> icon: What size(s) should it be, and what data type?
--> JDBC Drivers: I think the learning curve for setting up a Database, and then making it work through a JDBC Bridge is too steep for a simple designer like I am :-(
Maybe I will give it a try it once I got lots of spare time.

Setting up a database is the big hurdle to overcome. MySQL and HSQL are usually the easiest ones to get working - HSQL is usually the easiest one to install and get working (since it's just file-based).
The icons are usually 64x64 bit images. I can convert them to any format you like... if you have one that looks good at 64x64 in a lossless format, I can convert it to .xpm, .ico and .gif for the Java icons.

I'll test out in XP - it worked with XP SP1, but I haven't checked it out since.
Exporting to Excel doesn't quite work - a CSV plugin might do the trick. If you wish, you can add a feature request to https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=411708&group_id=34622&func=browse and I can see if I can whip one up in the next version.
Could you give me a short tutorial how you setup the database export function in win xp SP1? I got the same OS.
If you want to, I can design a new icon for ConsultComm. IMO the old one needs to be refurbished a little ; )
Thanks in advance,

I'm all for flashy icons. If you have a good idea to submit - I'm all ears! Or... eyes...
The tutorial/HowTo is in the Help section, under JDBC. If any of it seems confusing or unclear, let me know and I'll change likewise.
