.. How already mentioned the multiple project participants. When you add the status of the project like: not began
                      in work
                  .. and done.
you could put back the comunicator functions to change the status by the particular team member. So that the team leader or whatever every team member has the information about the project and the status of his work...

another thing is the time range. For such big projects it should be possible to handle time ranges of weeks or months.. maybe with a seperate calender?? why not?
But I know this is a  lot :) .. just some thoughts.

I basically depend on the database backend to handle most of the functions you listed. It would be nice to have a suite of applications perhaps, of which ConsultComm was only one - that way you could have individual group members submitting time to the database and then a seperate component that does reporting and charting of time usage by these individuals.

It would probably be best to have a new application developed that would work independantly of - but alongside with - ConsultComm. There's definitely room for that, and it can be released along with ConsultComm itself.

      Hi,

I am interested in project time keeping at the enterprise level.

I would like to develop a component that interfaces with the database that consult comm writes time stamps into.  Something that would be able to keep a track of the total time all employees have spent on projects and do this in real time.  fancy charts and stats :)

would you guys like to collaborate in doing this?

I can assist as needed - although you might want to look at doing something such as integration with GanttProject. Someone suggested such a plugin (see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1011582&group_id=34622&atid=411708 ) a while ago, but I haven't been able to look into it more in depth.
