OS: Windows 7
I ran Console2 fine the first time and saved a lot of tabs under Edit | Settings | Tabs. Then I had to reboot and close Console2. After the reboot, I opened Console2 and it started generating a lot of Console.exe instances. I had to run Task Manager and use "End Process Tree" to kill all of them.
I deleted my AppData\Roaming\Console/console.xml. I started Console2 again and it started just fine. However, I don't have my saved tabs anymore.
Is this a known bug?
Is there a workaround to keep my saved tabs?
Ok, maybe this was user error.
The first time I used Console2, I downloaded the src zip file and used the Console.exe there. After I ran into problems, I used the binary zip file. Now I seem to be able to create custom tabs and reopen Console2 without issue.
