#390 Scroll bar should take into account size of text on screen

I have my "Buffer Size: Rows" set very high so that I can scroll back to see old commands. However, when just starting the program, my scroll bar position indicator is already very small. I believe that the size of the buffer is used to set this, regardless of whether there's anything in the buffer.

The size of the buffer's contents should be used for the scroll bar position indicator size, not just the size of the buffer.

Console just shows the scrollbar of the underlying shell. So, when Console asks cmd.exe to use the buffer of 5000, cmd.exe shows the small scroll thumb [as if the buffer was full to the end] and tells Console that.

The effort to "override" what the underlying shell reports as the scrollbar sizes is comparable to building another Watson.

Can you ask the underlying shell to increase the size of its buffer? If so I can't see that this is as complicated as you say.
