#62 trying to make congruity work
I am running with ubuntu 16.04.4 my email: drufus2002@yahoo.com
I am trying to setup my harmony 650 with congruity. I am currently at http://members.harmonyremote.com/Eas...asp?Start=True and congruity is running.
A little box and asks me if I have the remote and I press the "yes" and then "forward".
I am then told that it has a file called connectivity.EZhex (3kb) then I press "next".
Then it tells me that I have chosen to open: ConnectivitySimple.EZHex and asks me what to do.
I have 2 options, open it with congruity or save the file. I have done both. when I open it I have a new box.
I am using congruity 18. Congruity welcomes me and tells me to make sure the remote is plugged in.
I press move forward.
It then advises me to be sure I the remote is connected.
It detects and then tells me it is successfully connected to the logitech 650 and then "Details...."
I press forward and it tells me that its checking connectivity and
notify website and I press forward
It then tells me the operations was completed successfully
I press "close"
it then goes back the the browser and tells me:
No association between the remote and user profile. Select another option.
The only option is to press "done"
when I press "done" it does it all over again.
If I try and run it in a terminal (using su or gksudo) I get an error but the error box is too small for the error and the box size is too small and will not expand.
Have you ever configured this remote with the website before, or is this the first time?
Are you sure this remote works with the older website (members.harmonyremote.com)? At least some (and possibly all?) Harmony 650's must be used with the newer website, and thus you must use mhgui instead. Can you try running mhgui?
