Justin and I (the two main founders of the project) recently had a meeting
to discuss future directions for Config4GNU. I or him will be posting
shortly what we discussed.... so hang tight until then.

Hi guys,

I have started a KDE configuration tool but it seems harder than I 
expected :)
I did the bad choice to think a filesystem-like view would be a good 
idea, but I discovered the "folders" can have several properties... so 
using the kio_slaves way is not a good solution probably.

I tried the expand method of the CfgObject => does not seems to work :(
I will try with the CVS version soon.

Furthermore, I successfully compiled the gtkmm configuration tool, but 
it crashes everytime at launch. I will install gtk with debug symbols if 
I am strong enough. Anyway, a friend of mine would like to contribute as 
well maybe, I am trying to convince him.

A first step would be to add comments in the code I think, it would be a 
good idea even if the names of the methods are explicit :)
I will try to add some comments while looking further in the code and I 
will send you my patches.

My friend will probably join as well, so tell us what parts of the lib 
need work since you will have more manpower.
