Christian, Yeah you should just be able to compile the "release" without needing to upgrade SWIG. Its more of what sourceforge considers a release than what we'd consider a release. Really, I just did a make dist in the CVS tree and uploaded the tarball. So maybe its more like a snapshot. Its still all sources, no binaries, the main difference is that you can compile it without SWIG at all.
