Regarding the GladeXML object, it's a GObject... so yea, I should have
called g_object_unref on it. The OS would free that memory at program
end, but that's rather sloppy.
Sorry about that, I'll be more careful :)
There's a couple new (small) diffs attached, with calls to
g_object_unref().
