Hi, folks.
If you're anxious to see ConStruct in action, (and help me find'n'fix the lots of bugs I left in the source), grab the construct-interpreter file from our project page. You will need libxml2, glib(1.2 or higher), a reasonable C compiler (tested with gcc) and make.
