No

While installing, there is a chance of the installation hanging on the step where the database must be written to; this error was encountered on Ubuntu 9.10, in Firefox. The database was never written to, and the screen hangs white while doing nothing. If this is repeatable, more details will be provided.

Being that at the time of this ticket, we can't identify the problem, and it is only recreatable on one machine we have access to, this simply means that our installer process during the database step may need more scrutiny in the future.

The URL where the blank page appears is: http://localhost/~josh/COMTOR_1/install/index.php?submit=1

The installation was tried again on the same machine, but with Linux Mint 8 instead of vanilla Ubuntu 9.10. Firefox 3.5.3 was used this time. The results were the same:

    * At the database writing step of a fresh installation, a blank page with no HTML shows up after inputting the database credentials and clicking Next.
    * The database had nothing written to it at all. It remains totally empty.

There is a chance this has something to do with PHP5-MySQL Module not being installed, but this has not been tested.
