HOW to start a development of new SEN app using the i-CT FRAMEWORK
As noted in other contributions, i-CT FRAMEWORK with its apps (see README files of initial apps in their directories too) stands for OPEN SOURCE PLATFORM for development of apps for SEN (Special Education Needs). All data are shared locally among add-on apps and framework app linked with this i-CT Framework tool. All data are stored locally. We collect only following data:
Developed app (from offered sources) works as a simple alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) for purpose of special education, where some pupils have to use this very simple way to communicate by choosing from two prepared options represented by communication cards.
This Yes/No app can be launched as standalone app or as an add-on (superstructure app upon the i-CT framework app, see more about i-CT framework at this blog). But full functionality can be reached by linking this app with its basement app - i-CT framework only. To do so, first install the i-CT framework to your device and run it at the background. Then install this app and select "Propojit s iCT-frameworkem" in the menu. You should be automatically switched to the i-CT framework app and consequently you should see the notice, that this app was linked successfully with the framework app. ... read more
