I tried using Complete! in Windows XP SP1 in Word 2000
and Notepad. Whenever I let the program complete my
words for me, the case is always wrong.
For instance, I first type "untitled", and the program
registers this correctly.
I then type dot, space and type "un" and press 2x SHIFT,
and Complete! types "untitLED".
If I type "Un" and press 2x SHIFT, it writes "UNTITLED".
I have Caps Lock off, and Case sensitivity disabled in
Complete!.
Another example is the word tomorrow. I write "to" and
the program spells out "tomorROW". If I type "To", it
spells out "tOMORROW", changing the first "T" to a
lowercase "t".
After doing this, I closed the program and looked at the
dictionary file. It contains the words correctly as
"untitled" and "tomorrow", all lowercase.
Complete! is pretty useless to me because of this
problem, so I was hoping you could fix it, because I would
like to use it.
Note: The problem also exists in v1.0.2.
I have language files for East Asian languages, but I
doubt they are the cause for the problem. I haven't
checked it out, though.
I hope to hear from you. My mail address is:
