Hi,

Because we have a lot of customizations we need our "Compiere.car" file for distributing the product and for migrate our existing customers.
How we can create this file?

compiere.car is generated with an internal propietary format.

For your distribution, the workaround is to generate a database export file (Oracle exp or EnterpriseDB pg_dump) for new installations.

I guess you use this format for database independence. In this case why you cannot share this feature with your authorized partners?

    Addition to the last note:

The (new) migration wizard does not work with 2 database schema (reference -> compiere). For this reason we cannot use yor workarond and cannot migrate our customers!
    We need a working solution.

    Thank You.

We're looking at providing a component migration tool.
The highlights will be discussed in the next partner call.
