This is mainly for document.
If a PFI returns null it does not mean that I want it to
disappear from the document.
Suppose I see
And I want to see it also when the value is Null
Poreference is maybe not a good example.
Suppose some sql function in the _v views
Now I got it...
But how would you then supress the Description? We have for
example a lot of fields on documents which should be there
only if not null and then I also don't wanna get the
Maybe we must enhance the AD with an additional record which
would define the Supress Issue, as this would solve it best
It is the meaning of coalesce in oracle view for me
The IsSuppressNull is there to make disappear item when they
When they are null the IsSupressNull is not checked then I
want an empty field.
I don't think I ask for something strange or not in link
with the field say it will do ?
But this is not coalesce. As said I will put this on the
list for AD extend, so that we will create a YN column
which could be used for it.
The point is that people know of the current behaviour and
it is wanted, that if a field is null the field decription
etc. is also not displayed.
A possible workaround for the moment might be to use a
label only for the description, and to leave the
description of the column empty.
