No

Since version 2.5.1c external images generate a
SecurityException. It worked fine friday where we used
2.5.1b

We installed the nightly build from Saturday from
webstore. Client used was WebStart. If run directly on
Server via run_compiere2 it works without problem.

    ... trace ??
    Works fine here.
Note that you need to have a JDBC connection for images
due to an Oracle driver bug

Thanks. Seems that it is a sandbox problem. Is the client
started with webstart?? Does the same error occur with the
local client? I assume that you can get to the image directly.
(There was NO change in the security / access area for a
year or so - it might be that you use a different Java
install/home with a different security setting)

we also didn't change anything... :-/

Local Client works fine. We have the webstart problem on all
workstation and it exists only after the 2.5.1c update...

    No Security Policy has changed...

Need to check - might be necessary to request that explicitly
    for web start.

    Okay played around a bit:

It works if the image is on the same server as the Webstart
    application

This error comes up when image is on external server and if
    image is not available.

Sandbox issue - handling the exception now
So, the restriction is that images need to be on the Apps
    Server :-/
