Hi Mike,

I can't say i've seen that yet...
The worst i've seen is the mfs.tgz tarball get corrupted, so the box 
doesn't boot properly.

You might want to check your 64MB parameters when the flash was burnt.
They are quite touchy.

As far as distance goes, the OpenBrick/FatPoint can use POE (power over 
ethernet) adapters to get power over a great distance.
I have tested this, and it works great.
