No

We need a module that emails the original poster of a message when a
comment as been made.

This is bourne from the fact that people have commented on the
comoblog.serialmonkey.com blog before and I have never responded.

ive added some code i wrote a while back to the CVS tree
that does this, i dont activly use it, but as far as i know
it works okay, ill try to take a look in detail once i have
all my base code in place

testing the code in CVS I'm getting import errors trying to find /include/pear/
Mail.php. With CoMoblog 1.0 I upgraded the version of pear we are using so
perhaps this file is now missing and we need to source it ?

modifed to use the built in php mail functions - ive no
recolection why i didnt use this originally but ive a vague
idea it was something to do with hosting it on windows.

can any one confirm my latest version DOES work on windows ?

Commited a couple of cleanups. Working well on my unix
    host.

It should be fine using the builtin PHP libraries really -
as they just look for a SMTP server that is configured in
    php.ini.

Do you want me to release ?

yeah, if your happy with it. its working fine on fedora core
    2 and 4

remove the old code i think, there is a reason i chose to
use it with the pair object , but im damned if i can recall
    what it was.

I've got a copy here with the obsolite code in (and its in
cvs any way) so its not a huge problem if some one does find
    a problem
