No

When I try to log in to the admin console, I supply
the correct user name and password, but it just takes
me back to the same login page with no error.

Which version of CoMoblog are you running ? Was it an upgrade or a clean
install ? Can you provide me the URL to the installation ? What operating system/
web server are you running ?

I assume you could login fine using 1.0 before the
    upgrade ?

Thinking this is a Windows thing - afraid I only develop
on Linux and reply on user feedback for Windows support.

Any chance you are easily able to provide me a backup of
your database ? Running CPanel or something like that ?

I'm not running CPanel. I can't give you a copy of the
database. I have considered migrating this server to
Linux but changed my mind after discovering how
embarrassingly difficult it is to try to install any new
software on Linux. I guess we're at an impass.

Do you have access to a command prompt on that machine ?
Can you run mysqldump to provide me a backup ? I can give
you the exact commands if needs be.

Ironically I had this happen to me on the weekend - but it was when I moved a
Comoblog install from one server to another - turned out the MySQL versions
had changed and the password() function now uses a different algorithm.

If you have access to running SQL direct against your DB (i.e. using phpmyadmin
or simular) then I can give you a command that will probably fix the problem
