Just letting you know that I have committed some code to the trunk!  I 
think the crux of the code reshuffle is done now.  It passes most of the

tests as far as I can tell, but I'm having some problems with the 
GridFTP 3rd party transfers.  I really hope this has nothing to do with 
the updated globus libraries (which are now all 1.6.0).

I think I have passed the test file transfer between SRB and other FS. 
Let me know if that is not the case!  I've made some pretty silly errors

along the way, which cost me dearly time-wise :(

Feel free to give it a test too!  More updates when I write some of 
those iRODS tests....
