i think it would be cool to have a setting to
automatically rotate every page by (e.g.) 90 degrees
after loading.

this might be useful to read comics on a notebook
display :)

    Hi, thanks for the feedback.

    It would indeed be very nice to have a rotate feature. There
    is however one problem. Bindings to the functions that let
    you rotate pixbufs in GTK+ 2.6 and newer are for some reason
    missing in PyGTK. This was not bug reported to the PyGTK
    devs before PyGTK 2.8 became API-freezed. This means that
    these functions will appear in PyGTK in version 2.10 in the
    best case. It will be a long time though before GTK+/PyGTK
    2.10 is released and stable enough for everybody, meaning
    that this feature will have to wait unless I find some other
    solution.

    If I find an alternative way of doing this effectively
    without bringing in new huge dependencies I promise I will
    do so. :)

    Rotation is supported as of version 2.3 through PIL (Python
    Imaging Library). It is not completely automatical yet though.
