I need to create virtual pair of serial ports using com0com
however, after installing com0com, I cannot open the setup command prompt (newdev.dll is missing)
could any one please tell me is it possible to run com0com on win98 platform

  No, it is not possible to run com0com on win98. You need Windows 2000 or newer.

Could you recode driver to have possible to compile with 98DDK to run it on win98? or it's impossible by driver architecture?
