    com0comUSER2012 - 2012-06-21

I've got two ports configured as follows:
    command> list
           CNCA0 PortName=COM#,RealPortName=COM3,EmuBR=yes,EmuOverrun=yes
           CNCB0 PortName=COM#,RealPortName=COM4,EmuBR=yes,EmuOverrun=yes

When I hook up HyperTerminal to both ports with the same baud rate settings, things work fine: Text I type is echoed to the other terminal.

When I reconfigure HyperTerminal to have both ends use different baud rates, I expect to see garbage or nothing. With com0com, I still get the text I type.

Is there any way I can get com0com to follow the baud settings configured in HyperTerminal? (Baud Rate Emulation is already set)

    Thanks.

The com0com follows the baud rate settings for data speed limit. It does not corrupt the data if baud rate mismatch.
