New Color Expansion client has been released. See https://sf.net/projects/fastexpansion
It is quite unfinished, and there is little hope that there will be progress. We'll see.
Current winner is Java Color Expansion, as stated at their homepage. Second place is mine. Place of fastexpansion is still to be determined. Nebohodimo has resigned, with understanding that they can't do better than I. I knew this from the beginning, they should have asked me.
There is new Color Expansion program here at Sourceforge - Java Color Expansion, its address is http://www.sf.net/projects/jcolorexpansion
It is fast and strong (try Maze AI). They are writing a client for my server, so i hope we'll soon see who is the best.
Download School of Domains client!
It plays much better now.
If you'll enjoy it please vote for it in the survey.
Color Expansion Server has been released. It works under windows sockets 2. Protocols included.
It doesn fully support observers, and it wasnt fully tested, but its good for the first release. I'm currently working on it, so next version will be released soon. Also i'll release my client for it. Currently you can download c# client from Nebohodimo School (see previous news).
It is a visual c++ 7 solution, but it can be easily ported to vc6.
Hope you'll enjoy it.
Nebohodimo School can be found at http://sf.net/projects/alpha-better
Currently there are two schools studying theory and practice of Color Expansion: my great School of Domains and Nebohodimo School (it can be found at http://sf.net/projects/alphabetter\).
I declare WAR on Nebohodimo School.
Server for inter-AI fights shall be written, and superiority of School of Domains shall be proven.
Please vote for my school in the survey.
