I'm using ATManagedFile and I have a .html file and it keeps being downloaded instead of viewed. It seems that the file has the Content-Disposition header set to attachment. Is this right? Is there a way to change it? I mean, it doesn't act like a real file if it does this... Ciao! Hi, I am currently updating a GroupUserFolder associated with an LDAP directory and it seems that the way GRUF works has changed. Before, groups were mapped to roles (one group one role) and the manage_groups page permitted to add roles to groups. Now, I can only have the "one group one role" mapping. Should the manage_groups page still work with LDAP groups ? Before: LDAPUserFolderEx 0.4a and GRUF 2.0.1 After: GRUF 3.3 LDAPUserFolder 2.5 (not changed) -- Bertrand Croq - FreesKop - Avenue Robert Schuman - 35170 BRUZ http://www.freeskop.com/ - Tel: 02 99 05 04 56 - Fax: 02 99 05 96 40 |

When I try to view the blog entry I just created, I get this error: Error Type NameError Error Value name 'checkPermission' is not defined I'm using Plone2 on Mac OS X. I just installed CMFWeblog 0.6 (and RPCAuth 0_4) as per the readme file in the top-level plone directory, set ownership and permissions on the new directories to be the same as the pre-existing ones, stopped and started plone, went into plone setup and officially "installed" CMFWeblog (RPCAuth doesn't show up in the list of installable products). Having no documentation for how to use this sucker, I looked at the Install Log which gave me a clue that going to /portal_weblog might do something. It did, and I created a blog entry OK, but, as I said, I can't view it. Furthermore, when I go to "my folder", I notice that there is a new "add to weblogs" tab. However, when I click it, I get the following error: Error Type AttributeError Error Value 'tuple' object has no attribute 'append' In general, what's the best place to ask questions about Plone products created by the "collective"? There are supposedly only 12 people on this list, which seems a bit low. Thanks, Kevin Murphy |

Dear Open Source developer I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate. You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it. With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development. With many thanks for your participation, Benno Luthiger PS: The results of the survey will be published under http://www.isu.unizh.ch/fuehrung/blprojects/FASD/. We have set up the mailing list fa...@we... for this study. Please see http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/mailinglist_en.html for registration to this mailing list. _______________________________________________________________________ Benno Luthiger Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich 8092 Zurich Mail: benno.luthiger(at)id.ethz.ch _______________________________________________________________________ |

Newbie Help request ==> CMFFormController 1.06beta Could someone please give me some clues for installing CMFFormController? The info in the ReadMe.txt is too terse, does not follow the typical install procedure for a product and disagrees with installation instructions for CMFFormController mentioned elsewhere on the plone site. Following the included Readme.txt... Since I have CMF 1.3, I followed steps 1, 2, & 3. But that doesn't do anything with the CMFFormController product. Are steps 1 and 2 for CMF1.4 implied to be performed as steps 4 & 5 for CMF1.3? When I try to create an external method, zope reply says it can't find the module. Do I need to perform some python build/install method first, and then create an external method pointing toward the result? Can I just put the untarred CMFFormController directory next to the other CMF product folders and restart zope? Note this has not worked on my installation. Nothing has worked so far. -------------------------------- I am trying to install CMFFormController into CMF & plone on MacOSX using the plone 1.05 installer (zope2.62, CMF1.32) from JimRoepcke/Tyrell. I currently use Formulator (with forms that post to themselves until valid) under zope 2.51, so the pattern logic of CMFFormController is very close to the pattern I use. I am anxious to try the newly posted Uniformed product. |
