This is a script that provides AWS Elemental TechSupport with all the necessary logs and data specific to troubleshooting issues.
Run this on any conductor, statmux, or encoder.

Open your ticket with AWS Elemental Tech Support first, then run this script.

Installation:
1. Place the script in an executable path on any Conductor,
Live Encoder, or StatMux node.
2. Modify the "SAVEDIR" path where collected data will be saved.
Note: Stores in a compressed tar file
3. Run the script

THE FOLLOWING IS A SAMPLE RUN

$ ./collect_elemental

Make sure /data/tmp has at least 5GB free.

Open a ticket with Elemental first, them run this script.

Enter Ticket Number: 0123456

Collecting the following:
* System Logs (/var/log)
* Web (/opt/elemental_se/web/log)
* Database logs (/data/pgsql/logs)
* Database Backups (/home/elemental/database_backups)
* Elemental Core Dumps (/data/server/cores)
* System Core Dumps (/var/crash)
* IPMI data (ipmi sel list sensor)
* Elemental Node Info (/etc/motd /opt/elemental_se/eme.lic conductor.lic ui.lic versions.txt)
* I'm a Live Encoder. Getting Event IDs (event_ids.xml)
* Compressing 1.5G - Please be patient

Upload the following file to Elemental:
